Mersen: Cotton Seed Distributors (NSW, Aus) - HCl Project Completion

Last end 2017, Mersen won an order worth several million euros from Australian company Cotton Seed Distributors (CSD), specialist in and sole supplier of cotton planting seed for the Australian market.

After a couple of years from thought to design to execution and finally to operation, the HCl distillation plant feeding the new delinting system has finally started operation!

The modular system proposed by Mersen and  developed in close collaboration with CSD also has the distinguishing feature of being able to limit water and energy consumption.

The HCl gas has done its part to assist in the production of the best cotton, "made in Australia"!
