Products spectrum
Aluminum electrolytic capacitors consist of aluminum foil, paper and an electrolyte as a conductive liquid. Capacitors of this type feature a high volume capacity and a compact design. FTCAP offers aluminum electrolytic capacitors in many performance classes and versions, with different connection variants and are designed to withstand extreme conditions.
Film capacitors are manufactured from a coated plastic film. The advantages of this type are high ripple current capacity and inductance, a very long life and good temperature resistance FTCAP offers film capacitors in many versions and performance classes, including the large offer of Leclanché capacitors.
There is hardly a housing form that we do not have in our product spectrum: you will find the right film capacitor for every installation situation.
A Capacitor bank is a grouping of several capacitors of the same rating. Capacitor banks may be connected in series or parallel, depending upon the desired rating. As with an individual capacitor, banks of capacitors are used to store electrical energy and condition the flow of that energy. Increasing the number of capacitors in a bank will increase the capacity of energy that can be stored on a single device.
